Invite the Other Party

Ready to mediate, but the other side isn't there yet?

That's common, and it doesn't mean mediation is off the table. Tell us a bit about the situation, and River can reach out to the other party on a neutral basis — explaining the process and offering them their own free introductory conversation.

It's not an admission

Agreeing to learn about mediation — or letting us reach out to the other party — is not an admission of fault, and does not concede your position.

We review before contacting anyone

Every request is reviewed by River before any outreach happens, to make sure mediation is appropriate for the situation.

The other party gets their own conversation

Before being asked to commit to anything, the other party is offered a free introductory conversation with the mediator, just like you were.

Request a neutral invitation

We'll review your request before reaching out to anyone. Nothing is sent automatically.

This form is reviewed by River Dispute Resolution before any contact is made with the other party. Submitting this form does not start mediation and creates no obligation.

Request received.

Thank you — we'll review your request and follow up with you directly before contacting the other party.
